My Cracking Ceiling

As I lie there staring at the cracks in my pure brilliant white ceiling

I started to ponder on life’s true meaning

I mean if I cannot address this crack in the right way

How can I ensure my life doesn’t astray

Some think I over-dramatic for having such thoughts

But I think the cracks are there because the last decorator used caulk

I got some advice from a friend in the painting and decorating game

And he said the last decorator is definitely to blame

I felt slightly frustrated as he was a nice guy

He had the lowest quote out of five

Perhaps that’s where I made a mistake

I went for the happy meal burger instead of the sirloin steak
